On the occasion of the 70^th year of Independence, Navyug Kanya Mahhavidyalaya Lucknow, NCC unit organised a poster competition entitled 'Yaad Karo Qurbani' along with a slogan writing competition on the topic, 'Azadi- sahi mayno mein'. Both the competitions were held on 20th of august, 2016 to make the students realise that the Independence Day is not a day of holiday but a day to pay reverence and feel truly blessed for all the sacrifices that our Freedom Fighters had to pay to make this Country free, Independent and great again.

To celebration of the 70^th year of independence, NSS unit of Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya Lucknow, organised a poster competitions on Yaad Karo Qurbani and slogan competitions on Azadi – Sahi Mayno Me at college campus on 20th August, 2016. NSS unit also organised campaign "Tiranga Yatra under "Yaad Karo Kurbani" in the session 2015-2017.
