Clubs

Proctorial Board:
The college has an active Proctorial board comprising of faculty and students representatives to keep check on the use of mobiles , proper uniform, general discipline and behavior of the students in the campus.

Students' Council:
The students council of Navyug is a representative body of the students which ensures their participation in the decision making regarding significant issues of their own interest, thus bridging the gap between the administration & the students, the stakeholders.

Grievance & Redressal Cell:
The college will provide online as well as off-line grievance redressal facility to its students from the coming session 2014-15. It also provides "Suggestion Box" for students to register their complaints with the grievance redressal cell, comprising of the members of teaching faculty headed by the Principal.

Contribution of Alumni in Student's Progression:
The college has initiated special facility to its students to give guidance related to career choice & expert opinion from time to time by the alumni who have been professionally well placed. The various Departmental faculty keep track of its pass-out students who are holding prominent positions in some Govt./Private organizations & arrange counseling sessions specially for their students within their respective Departments.

Green Club:
The college has a commitment to spread awareness among its students to keep the environment clean & green. It is with this motive in mind, the college intends to open Green Club which will be maintained & run by student representatives from each Department from the next academic session 2014-15. Each student will be motivated to bring a plant and nurture it so that they become responsible towards their surroundings and become sensitive towards nature & environment.

Waste Management Club:
With the overwhelming response from students of Science, Arts & Commerce stream from college initiative to put the items made out of waste/useless material by the students in "Navyug Haat", a three day event of Golden Jubilee Celebration for sale with the profit going into students' pocket, the college plans to open Waste Management Club in college from the next academic session 2014-15. The students will be given opportunity to display their creativity in the form of items made out of waste material in the exhibition & will be allowed to sell them at nominal price. This practice will bring earning to students & make them responsible citizens as well.

Departmental Clubs:
A college activities club is that offers a variety of extracurricular opportunities to enhance campus life. These clubs provide a platform for students to explore interests outside academics, engage in social events, volunteer work, leadership development, and creative projects. Activities may include cultural events, sports, debates, arts, music, and community service. Clubs help students build friendships, develop new skills, and foster a sense of belonging within the college community. They also offer a great way to network, gain experience, and contribute to the college environment. The different departments have their own "clubs" with students as their members.
